Bloom time in Anglia

6th November 2007 Print
Staff at Lowestoft-based Persimmon Homes Anglia have put their green fingers into action to plant the first daffodil bulbs in recognition of its charity partner, Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The daffodil is synonymous with Marie Curie Cancer Care and sales advisers at Persimmon’s numerous regional developments have planted bulbs now in order to create a mass of colourful blooms next spring.

Persimmon Homes, the UK’s largest housebuilder, has supported Marie Curie Cancer Care since 2006. Persimmon has a long history of fundraising for cancer charities with Macmillan benefiting from nearly £300,000 back in 1998, while an enlarged Persimmon Group generously donated almost £500,000 to Breast Cancer Care in 2004. Persimmon’s 4,500 staff hope to raise thousands of pounds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Persimmon Homes Anglia is building at a range of developments across the region including in Norwich city centre, Diss, Lowestoft, Rendlesham, Harleston, Soham and Sudbury.
