Get ahead at The Chase

22nd May 2008 Print
Get ahead at The Chase David Wilson Homes Eastern Counties has put affordability at the top of their agenda, by launching its new Head Start scheme aimed at first time buyers at The Chase development in Norfolk.

The Head Start scheme has been specifically designed to help first time buyers secure their dream home first time around, by allowing them to pay just 85 per cent of the purchase price of their property with no deposit. Plus, for those already on the property ladder and looking to make the next step, a new and improved part-exchange scheme is also available.

Sales and marketing director, Rebecca Littler, comments: "It is always a big decision to make that first step or the next move up the property ladder. First time buyers can find the thought of saving for a deposit or mortgage payments a bit daunting and those looking to make the move, often find chains breaking, estate agents fees both stressful and a financial strain.

"Both our Head Start initiative and our part-exchange scheme have been designed to ease the monetary pressures and make moving into a new home as stress free as possible. Head Start is only available for a limited period, so anyone looking to take advantage of its benefits should register their interest now."

Head Start

The Head Start scheme is a win-win situation for any homebuyers who choose to take advantage of its benefits, as it means that they can own their entire home for only 85 per cent of the cost and without paying a deposit. In turn, allowing them to make the move without stretching their finances too far and helping them to realise their dream of owning their own home.

The new scheme is simple; purchasers take out a mortgage for only 85 per cent of the value of their home, while David Wilson Homes provides an interest free loan to cover the other 15 per cent. The deferred amount is then paid back as 15 per cent of the property's open market value, either within 10 years of purchase or at the time of resale if this is earlier than 10 years.

Part-Exchange

Designed to remove all of the uncertainty and stress from selling your existing home, part-exchange saves both time and anxiety; rather like trading in your old car for a new model, part-exchange works in much the same way. Once the sale has been agreed purchasers can remain comfortably in their own property until their new home is ready, providing peace of mind of a guaranteed sale.

Rebecca continues: "This scheme really helps if you have an existing home to sell and as an additional incentive, if you complete by the 20 June, David Wilson Homes will pay your mortgage for you until January 2009."

There's no hassle, no estate agent fees, plus you are exempt of purchasing a Home Information Pack (HIP) for your property.

Prices start from £129,995 for a coach house to £264,995 for a four bedroom townhouse.
