Safety first as Barratt visits primary school at Queen's Hills

Safety first as Barratt visits primary school at Queen's Hills Building sites are exciting places for young children; but sites can be dangerous places and are best avoided. This was the message given by a member of Barratt's construction team, who recently visited Queen's Hills Primary School to talk to pupils about safety. Barratt Eastern Counties Ringland Park development is next door to the school and keeping young neighbours safe is a top priority.

Head Teacher Penny Sheppard commented: "We are very grateful to Barratt for speaking to our pupils. It's a serious message, but the children listened carefully and had great fun in dressing up in the safety gear that is worn on site."

Ringland Park is part of Queen's Hills, a superb new development set in 86 acres of parkland, just five miles from Norwich. Designed with families in mind, this will be a new community with shops, recreational areas and plenty more.

Barratt is building a wide range of homes and is currently offering two-bedroom apartments priced from £137,995 and two, three and four-bedroom houses starting from £164,995. For more information, log on to Barratthomes.co.uk.

Queen's Hills Primary School, which opened in September 2008, will have 315 pupils and a 26-place nursery. There are still a few places available. Contact Penny Sheppard on head@queenshill.norfolk.sch.uk.
