Three-storey living offers solutions for 21st Century life

Three-storey living offers solutions for 21st Century life Brackla homebuyers could be living the high life with a new three-storey house from Redrow. A selection of stylish townhouses and homes with ‘ready-made loft conversions' are on sale at Coed Castell, offering spacious homes in a great rural location just a mile from Bridgend and two miles from the M4.

Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), said: "Three-storey homes offer families and other homebuyers the opportunity to choose how they use the extra space in their property and be creative and flexible with the internal layout.

"Whilst three-storey living was popular back in Victorian times, living spread over three floors today is a contemporary solution to modern day life, and we've found that buyers at all stages of the property buying ladder appreciate its appeal - from young families right through to downsizers.

"The first floor living areas can offer extra privacy, with many buyers taking the opportunity to give teenagers and older children their own space and independence, which can be difficult to do in the traditional two-storey home. And people who work from home can also benefit, as a home office can often be tucked away on the top floor, separating ‘home' and ‘work' lives."

The three-bedroom ‘Malham' townhouse offers spacious and flexible living over three floors, and it demonstrates the quality that can be found in every home on this development. Its layout comprises a kitchen/dining area, cloakroom and integral garage on the ground floor. Moving up, the first floor includes a large rear facing lounge, bedroom and family bathroom. There are two further bedrooms on the second floor, including the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

Likewise, the four-bedroom ‘Neale' offers growing families plenty of room to spread out, with a kitchen, a living room and a cloakroom on the ground floor, a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, plus the lounge on the first floor and three further double bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor.

The ‘Ouse' is one of a new generation of homes with a ‘ready made loft conversion'. What would normally be redundant roof space has been converted to create two bedrooms, adding a sense of fun for children who can enjoy having their own ‘den'. The rest of the home comprises a roomy lounge and fitted kitchen/dining room on the ground floor, while the first floor boasts a spacious master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, as well as the second bedroom and family bathroom.

The development's fantastic location - having the perfect balance of accessibility to towns and cities, whilst a short drive from the beautiful Welsh coastline - is a big selling point and Redrow anticipates its popularity will keep rising

The village of Brackla has a choice of pubs and leisure facilities, whilst nearby Bridgend has a host of amenities available to its locals - from doctors and dentists, to family-friendly pubs and stylish wine bars - something that will suit everyone.

The village also has several excellent schools nearby - both English and/or Welsh speaking - and is only three miles from the fantastic McArthur Glen retail shopping outlet.

Three-bedroom Malham homes are currently priced from £172,995, with four-bedroom Neales from £177,995 and Ouses from £199,995.

To provide added comfort and reassurance to prospective homebuyers, award winning Redrow Homes has extended its ‘house price protection' promise until May 4 - helping to protect the value of its customers' new homes for up to three years*.

It is one of the measures under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow', which are all designed to give home buyers confidence and to help get them moving in the current housing market.

As well as helping to protect the value of their new home, Redrow's ‘re:assure' package includes measures to help people sell their current property at the best possible price and the option to part-exchange on selected plots.
