Miller Homes sponsors Ollerton Rugby Team

The triumphant Ollerton Rugby Team are the proud owners of a new training kit, thanks to local housebuilder Miller Homes. Miller gave the winning club a donation of over £800 to enable them to buy the much needed, training tops for its 100 members.

The players will now be kept warm and dry throughout the tough winter months whilst playing other teams in the Retford, Newark, Mansfield, Worksop and Southall areas.

Jan Hanaby, area sales manager for Miller Homes Yorkshire said: “We have only recently opened our development in Ollerton but it is proving quite popular already.

“Being part of the community where we build is key to Miller’s social responsibilities, that’s why we are committed to supporting local organisations and we are pleased to be involved with a great team such as the Ollerton Rugby Club.”

James McGinley, president and Ollerton Rugby Team player as well as owner of the Tyre Shop said: “The team greatly appreciated the donation made by Miller Homes. It means that both the first and second team look much smarter and more professional. So far this season we have played six and won six, let’s hope the new kit keeps us on this winning streak!”
