Persimmon challenges new build misconceptions When you conjure up images about new-build properties, chances are you don’t automatically think of cottages in a beautiful semi rural setting. However, that’s exactly what you can expect to see at the stunning Woodleigh Manor development in Brandesburton.

“Appealing to a mix of buyers, from downsizers looking for a more manageable-sized property to young professionals who want to live within commutable distance to Beverley and Hull, the three bedroom cottages from our ‘Courtyard Collection’ really do encompass the ideal blend of new home must haves” comments Karen Harrowell, regional sales director for Persimmon Homes.

“Just two cottages now remain for sale and, complete with fully fitted carpets, stylish fitted kitchens, turf to the front and rear gardens, stamp duty and legal fees paid, I can’t imagine they will be available for long.”

Deceptively spacious, ground floor accommodation in the cottages comprises a kitchen/dining area which spans the width of the property, separate lounge, guest cloakroom and handy storage. The master bedroom with en-suite, two further bedrooms and a shared family bathroom can be found on the first floor.

For a strictly limited time, Holly cottage at plot 8 is being offered with a truly tempting incentive. Not only does it boast a reduced New Year price of £199,999, but Persimmon is also offering to pay the stamp duty and £500 towards legal fees.

Persimmon’s exclusive Woodleigh Manor scheme comprises just 27 properties incorporating a mix of stunning cottages and spacious detached family homes, built in mature plots which span up to half an acre and are surrounded by open countryside and areas of conservation. Residents in the village of Brandesburton are well catered for with a variety of local shopping and leisure amenities including a jet-ski centre and the Hainsworth Park Golf Club. A wider selection can be found further a field in Beverley or Hull whilst ease of access to the A165 bypass allows commuters convenient travel to Beverley, Hull and Driffield.
