Planning permission granted for Pocklington site

22nd April 2008 Print
Planning permission granted for Pocklington site The site of the former Sundora Factory in Pocklington is set to make way for 50 brand new homes. York-based Persimmon Homes Yorkshire has received detailed planning permission from East Riding Council for the £4.4 million development situated on Burnby Lane. The 3.2 acre site will feature a mix of one, two, three, four and five bedroom homes with the housing provision designed to appeal to a broad mix of budgets and requirements.

Mark Newby, land director for Persimmon's Yorkshire region is confident the scheme situated in this quaint market town will come as welcome news to local househunters. He comments: "With our investment, commitment and vision, we will transform the area into somewhere people want and aspire to live and we can't wait to get started on site."

The former factory has already been demolished, construction work has commenced and the first homes will be released for sale in July.

Persimmon Homes Yorkshire is always interested in purchasing land and a site occupying two acres or more and within an easy drive of a local town and amenities can often be suitable. If you're a vendor and would like to know more, please call Mark Newby or email mark.newby@persimmonhomes.com.

Details on all Persimmon developments can be found at Persimmonhomes.com.
