Barratt praises six of the best

Barratt praises six of the best Staff at Barratt's Yorkshire East division, which is based at Monks Cross North business park in York, have been rewarded for their contribution to the success of the business at the company's Forward Through Quality awards. All six employees were presented with trophies. Alison Markwell won Sales Negotiator of the Year for her work at the Bayside development in Bridlington.

Sales Administrator Kate Ward was awarded Employee of the Year for her rapid progression from Telesales Operative through to her current sales position. Paul Dearnley received the Site Manager of the Year award for his work at the award winning Kings Park development in Hull and he also recently won an NHBC Pride in the Job award.

Assistant Site Manager Andy Bentley was presented with the Excellence in Customer Service award, whose can do attitude has resulted in customers rating him highly in customer surveys. Paul Dearnley and Sam Cody won Development Team of the Year for their success at Kings Park in Hull. Apprentice of the Year went to Jack Simpkin, who is based at the Waterside Park development in Hull.

Award winner Paul Dearnley who has worked with Barratt for 11 years, said: "It is an honour to win the awards and to gain the extra recognition for all our hard work and commitment to the company and our customers."

John Reed, Regional Managing Director for the Northern region presented the awards and said: "Our employee awards form an important part of our ongoing Forward Through Quality campaign to raise standards in all aspects of our business. The winners are people who consistently show a positive, professional approach to their work and I am delighted to make these presentations, which recognise their achievements."
