New homes sales top £3 million in East Yorkshire

10th July 2009 Print
Award-winning Stamford Homes is celebrating a staggering £3 million worth of sales at its recently acquired developments in East Yorkshire.

The Grimsby-based new homes builder expanded into the area just a few weeks ago – following the acquisition of Hull-based Wright Homes.

It has already made its mark on relatively new territory, with its stylish sought-after homes leading to sales of just over £3 million.

Five new developments in York, Hull, Holme on Spalding Moor, Beverley and Cottingham now come under the Stamford Homes umbrella – adding to the company’s extensive portfolio of locations and new homes to suit all tastes and budgets.

A mix of three and four-bedroom homes span the five developments, many of which are ready to move into now, or later this summer.

Stamford Homes’ Melanie Parker has been appointed area manager for the developments.

Melanie said: “The response from local people to Stamford Homes’ arrival in the area has been overwhelming, in terms of their personal support which has led to such phenomenal sales in a relatively short time.

“We have seen a healthy interest in people wanting to buy a new home in our new locations, and coupled with our range of incentives to suit all pockets and lifestyle requirements, we have been able help customers achieve their goal.

“It is encouraging to see that there is a market out there, and that home-hunters are choosing to visit and buy from us.”
