New show home opens at The Laurels, Grangetown Primo by Gladedale has just opened the doors to its new showhome at The Laurels in Grangetown, giving potential homebuyers a chance to see the benefits of living in a brand new, low-maintenance home.

The leading housebuilder has created a striking collection of 44 homes located just off Grange Farm Road in Grangetown where the three bedroom semi detached Dove show home, priced at £102,995, is currently taking centre stage.

The Laurels comprises a selection of two and three bedroom mews and semi-detached as well as three bedroom detached family houses and each of the housetypes is designed with a traditional sense of quality and value, breathing new life into the area.

The popular three bedroom semi detached Dove is attracting many local buyers looking to progress up the property ladder or an alternative to renting. As with all Primo homes, the Dove is created with 21st century living in mind, including a spacious lounge, fitted kitchen and generous bedrooms.

Downstairs, the living area is extremely inviting and incorporates an open plan lounge and dining room overlooking the rear gardens, providing the perfect place to sit back and relax. The spacious fitted kitchen, also located on this floor, overlooks the front garden. There is also a downstairs cloak room on this floor.

Upstairs, the space is intelligently divided to offer three bedrooms and a main bathroom. A large master bedroom overlooks the front of the home whilst the second is also generous in size. The third bedroom is ideal as nursery but could easily be used as a study or a TV den to escape the rest of the family.

To make it easier for potential homeowners, Primo by Gladedale is offering a shared purchase initiative on selected plots allowing them to secure the home by initially just paying 75% of the total cost of the property. The buyer then has up to ten years to pay the remaining 25% which is rent free.

Shared purchase not only makes it easier for those struggling to get on the property ladder to own a home but it also allows them to secure a property that they previously have thought out of their reach.

For example, the three bedroom semi-detached The Dove house is priced at £102,995 but under shared purchase, the new owner would be offered excellent value for money by originally paying just £77,246 to secure the property.

This also means that the Hurricane two bedroom semi-detached or mews usually priced £92,995 could be secured for as little as £69,746.

Each of the Primo house types are carefully dispersed throughout the developments to create an eye-catching streetscape, a Primo by Gladedale trademark.

The homes are ideally located for those who work in Middlesbrough as the A66 is within easy reach. The A174 will also allow residents to enjoy regular seaside outings to Redcar where Hollywood blockbuster Atonement was filmed.

Richard Jones, Sales Director for Gladedale (Sunderland) Ltd, said: “The Laurels offers the first quality new homes in the area for many years and the opening of the new showhome allows potential homeowners to experience what life in a Primo by Gladedale home can be like.

“Our shared purchase initiative is an example of our commitment to helping local buyers get on the property ladder and being able to secure a two bedroom house for an initial outlay of just £69,746 or a three bedroom semi-detached for £77,246 is excellent value for money.”

The sales office at The Laurels is open Thursday to Monday from 11am to 5pm. For information visit Primobygladedale.co.uk.
