New riverside show home reaches a high level If you're looking for a creative and unique new home with practical spaces and bold design statements, head to the new show home at Staiths South Bank in Dunston for inspiration.

The recently finished four bedroom Hi Level show home enjoys a stunning riverside location and has a private garden to the front and rear, as well as access to communal pocket parks. It is impressively light family home and has been designed with large windows to make the most of the views and light available. The rooms are exceptionally well proportioned and offer excellent value for money. The interior design is clean and minimalist with a light colour palette to complement the natural light available and it shows that bold clever but simple statements can be made on a budget.

The spacious hallway with a guest cloakroom, leads to the large open family room, dining room or additional living room with double doors to the garden. The kitchen to the rear means you can watch the moving river scene while doing the washing up! It is fully fitted with a contemporary Jasper design and slate effect floor tiles, heavily grained units which echo the coal heritage of the site and complementary luxor worktops. The kitchen is fitted for modern needs with chrome fittings and fixtures and integrated appliances including washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven and stainless steel sink. There is a large under stairs cupboard between the kitchen and the family room which is practical for storage and clutter.

On the first floor, there is a wonderful large rectangular living room with Juliet balcony and windows on two sides. This elevated room again overlooks the front garden and river with views to the bridges of NewcastleGateshead. There is also a large family bathroom with slate effect floor tiles and white fixtures and fittings providing a contemporary look. In addition, there's a large square double guest bedroom with plenty of space for a dressing table, wardrobes and bedside cabinets too. This room has a strip of windows above the bed as well as floor to ceiling windows to the side and overlooks the garden and courtyard area.

On the second floor, the master bedroom features a silled window which runs the length of the room overlooking the river, this room leads to a large en suite. The décor incorporates a light colour scheme, chrome fittings and a hint of teal. Also on this floor are two further bedrooms, one which could be used as a study or nursery and the other a well proportioned double.

The Hi Level and other homes available at Staiths South Bank provide high quality, affordable Quayside living close to the city centre and are ideally placed to make the most of what Gateshead and Newcastle have to offer with the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art just an eight minute cycle ride away! The homes line the wide boulevard entrance which leads to the Grade II listed Dunston Staiths, Europe's largest wooden structure on the River Tyne.
