Primo gala day in St Helen Auckland

Len Worsfold, Managing Director of Primo by Gladedale, says: "We have seen the area develop with remarkable speed and quality, both residentially and commercially, over the past ten years and we are proud to be part of this driving community.
"Primo has gained a strong reputation for meeting the need for quality housing in the Auckland area and has created over 300 homes in the area with Foxglove Gardens, directly across from the St Helen Auckland Green, being our most recent development."
Organised by St Helens Residents Association, the Gala Day enjoyed a mix of activities with the football competition and climbing wall being particularly popular. Younger generations were bedazzled by a fun fair, magic and theatre from King James Drama Group. Refreshments from St Helens Parish Centre Committee were served all day.
Retiring District Councillor Mrs Margaret Douthwaite and former County Councillor Harold "Sonny" Douthwaite, were thanked for their vast contributions to the community. Both served as Chairmen of Wear Valley District Council and participated on countless committees not least on the St Helens Steering Group which formulated the plans for the redevelopment of St Helens and they have had a long association with the Residents Association and the Gala day.
Primo by Gladedale's developments in the area include Foxglove Gardens, Oakley Manor and Primrose Gardens and is attracting many local buyers looking to move into a brand new, low-maintenance home.
