Pride in the Job accolade awarded to Catchgate site manager Gladedale is celebrating the success of site manager David Armstrong who has been presented with top accolade, the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Award 2008.

Site manager, David Armstrong has worked with Gladedale for five years and this prestigious award recognises his outstanding work at Balmoral Gardens in Catchgate, where he has worked closely with his team of 14 for the last year.

Each year the NHBC awards recognise the UK’s top site managers as a means of raising standards in the housebuilding industry and ensuring that homes are built to an exceptional standard.

David was selected from site managers across the UK and was commended for his commitment to housebuilding practices including technical skill, quality workmanship, customer service and site safety. He said: “This is such a great compliment to me and my entire team and we are all very honoured to be recognised for our hard work.”

Richard Jones, Sales Director of Gladedale in the north east of England, said: “This is a true testament to the great team performance, working practices and management skills displayed at our Balmoral Gardens development. We are all extremely proud of David and his team and congratulate them all on their great success.”
