Successful launch for Barratt's new Cwmbran development Home buyers flocked to St Josephs Meadow, Barratt's exciting new development in Cwmbran, for the opening of the sales office and show homes on Saturday 25 October.

"The success of the launch shows that, despite the current economic climate, Barratt homes are still in demand in Wales," reports Adrian Bird, Barratt sales director.

"Visitors were eager to be the first to view the show homes, and to take their pick of the first plots to be released."

The two show homes are in the Ascot and Windermere house styles. These detached family homes come with integrated garages and four/five bedrooms.

When complete, St Josephs Meadow will offer a selection of two, three and four/five-bedroom homes with prices currently starting from £139,995.

"In addition to the show homes, people were also impressed with the excellent range of buyer incentives currently on offer," Adrian continued.

Barratt is also offering buyers the opportunity to pick up the keys to a new home for just 75 per cent of the price. Barratt will pay the other 25 per cent through a deferred loan.

In other words, you could own 100 per cent of a new Barratt home for just 75 per cent of the price. And some lenders will even accept Barratt's 25 per cent share as your deposit - meaning that you won't need a deposit of your own.

St Josephs Meadow nestles in the village of Llantarnam, which boasts a medieval abbey, schools and a leisure centre. The nearby town of Cwmbran offers a range of amenities including a theatre, sports and leisure facilities, a train station and two golf courses.

This area of south east Wales is steeped in history and local attractions include the Caerleon roman settlement and Newport Castle. Commuters are well served by the A4042 and M4, which offer easy access to Newport and the thriving city of Cardiff.
