Charles Church gives back in Risca

Charles Church gives back in Risca Charles Church's Millbrook development in Risca has proved so popular with purchasers that there are now only a few homes remaining! However, Charles Church is still demonstrating their commitment to the surrounding community by organising a painting competition with the local school, Ty Isas Infants and Nursery School.

The participating children, aged between five and six years, were asked to paint a picture of a house in Autumn, and last week Janet, the Charles Church Sales Executive at Millbrook, visited the school to collect the entries.

Janet said, "There was a really high standard of entries to the painting competition and the children made a lot of effort. It's great to be able to give something back to the local community and build a lasting relationship with the school which will be continued if residents of Millbrook choose this facility to educate their children."

Gerry Fox, Senior Sales Manager for Charles Church Wales judged the entries and said, "We were really impressed with all the paintings and all the children will receive a small prize for their participation. However, the winner was Ronan Zorrilla, whose colourful painting stood out the most and he has been awarded with a £10 book token. We will also donate £50 to the school to show our appreciation of their involvement with this competition."

Millbrook offers purchasers three bedroom family townhouses with a lovely rural aspect, yet still only a short distance from the lively city of Newport. Residents have the advantage of numerous amenities encompassing local shops, a comprehensive school and a leisure centre. Newport offers a great wealth of entertainment activities including shops, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs and Newport International Sports Village provides an abundance of sports facilities including a swimming pool, squash courts and tennis centre.

Cultural enthusiasts will revel in the selection of art galleries, museums, The Riverfront arts centre, providing a diverse range of live entertainment, as well as a number of interesting historical sites. Millbrook benefits from excellent transport links, situated just five minutes from the M4 motorway and within walking distance of Risca train station, which offers services to Cardiff in 15 minutes.

Prices at Millbrook start from £150,450 using the FairShare shared equity scheme. For further information, log on to Charleschurch.com.
