Building relationships in Chepstow

18th November 2008 Print
Building relationships in Chepstow Charles Church is one housebuilder that recognises the importance of giving something back to the communities that they build within - as well as building Bayfields, a development of family homes in Chepstow, this renowned housebuilder also recently organised a painting competition with the local school in order to demonstrate their focus on the surrounding area.

The painting competition was held for the two reception classes at The Dell School in Chepstow, comprising children aged five to six years, who were asked to paint pictures on a Halloween theme. Carol, the Charles Church sales executive at Bayfields, said: "All of the children put a great deal of effort into their paintings and I think they found it very enjoyable. The competition has proved an excellent way to build a relationship with the school, which is useful as families that buy at Bayfields are likely to educate their children there."

The judging took place last week in the school assembly, with a winner from each reception class, and Carol said: "As the paintings were so colourful and imaginative it was difficult to choose a winner, but we eventually decided on Jamie Woods and Tori Peacey, who each received £10 worth of book vouchers". Charles Church also rewarded the school for their participation with £30 worth of book vouchers.

Bayfields offers a selection of homes to suit all requirements, incorporating one bedrooms coachouses, three and five bedroom townhouses and four bedroom detached homes. Chepstow is certainly a desirable area in which to reside, with a rejuvenated town centre providing a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, as well as regular farmers' markets.

The area is ideally suited to family life, surrounded by beautiful areas of woodland and countryside at Great Barnets Wood, the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley just begging to be explored and historical sites, such as the Roman remains at Caerwent perfect for a cultured day out. Commuters will benefit from the location of Bayfields, with excellent connections to the M48, M4 and M5 motorways offering easy access to Bristol, Cardiff and Newport.

Prices at Bayfields start from £124,995. For further information, log on to Charleschurch.com.
