Winning deals for house buyers in Risca With the current concerns highlighted in the media regarding the housing market, those wishing to move house may believe they cannot afford to. However, with Charles Church's FairShare shared equity scheme, it is possible to afford one of their stunning new homes, as recent purchaser at Millbrook, Thomas Long, discovered.

Thomas, proprietor of Bladez Barber Shop in Risca, and his partner Sarah purchased their first home at Millbrook, the three bedroom Sutton housetype, using the FairShare scheme. He said: "We had looked around a number of housing developments but the houses at Millbrook were just what we were looking for and Charles Church were offering the best deals. They even offered to pay our stamp duty for us!"

Charles Church's FairShare shared equity scheme meant that Thomas and Sarah own the entirety of their new home at Millbrook, but only had to pay 75 per cent of the cost. Charles Church then provided the remaining 25 per cent, which only has to be repaid after ten years or when they sell their home. Thomas said of the scheme: "It's proving difficult to get a mortgage at the moment, so the FairShare scheme was really helpful as we wanted a mortgage for a lower amount. It also meant there was no deposit to pay which has saved us a lot of money."

The Charles Church Sales Executives are available to assist purchasers every step of the way, which can be helpful for full time workers, as Thomas realised: "The Sales Executive was extremely helpful and really took care of everything for us as we were limited on time during the week - she really made an effort to achieve a deal that worked for us as well as Charles Church."

There are now only a few three bedroom homes available at Millbrook, each featuring well equipped kitchens fitted with a selection of appliances and white sanitaryware and complementary tiling to the bathrooms. The town of Risca provides residents with a variety of local shops, a leisure centre for sporting pursuits and a well regarded comprehensive school. Millbrook is ideally placed to take advantage of the wealth of shopping and entertainment facilities in Newport, only seven miles away, and the capital city of Cardiff can be reached by train in just 15 minutes.

Prices at Millbrook start from £150,450 using the FairShare scheme. For further information log on to Charleschurch.com.
