TAP offers extra flights to Africa & Europe

TAP To meet the increased demand predicted over the Christmas period, TAP is strengthening its operation on flights to Africa and Europe, with an offer of an additional 83 flights.

Thus, between December 15 and January 5 2007, passengers will be able to count on a reinforcement of 26 extra flights to Luanda and Bissau, the equivalent of more than 6,820 seats to these two destinations. TAP will make 12 additional flights from Lisbon to Luanda, one of which with a stopover in Porto and an extra flight to Bissau departing from Lisbon.

The Company has also scheduled an increase of 57 additional flights to Europe, corresponding to 7,440 seats to Paris, Luxemburg and Geneva.

In order to meet regular demand in this period of the year, TAP will increase flights to Orly Airport (Paris) with the offer of 3,928 seats, via an extra 11 direct flights from Porto and 5 extra flights from Lisbon (two of which with stopovers in Porto).
Passengers to Luxemburg will be provided with 5 additional flights operating from Lisbon (two with stopovers in Porto), representing an increase in capacity of 1,360 seats.

Over the Christmas period, TAP will also expand its operations to Geneva, making another 2,152 seats available, corresponding to 7 extra flights departing from Lisbon, three of which with stopovers in Porto and an extra flight departing from Porto.
