TAP among top 200 most reputable global companies

TAP ranks among the top 200 companies that in the opinion of consumers is 29 countries enjoy the best reputation on a world level. Moreover, the list only included one other Portuguese company – the Sonae Group – and four other airline transport companies with Lufthansa out in front.

The national airline company surged into 178th place in the ranking drawn up in this study conducted by the Reputation Institute, a North American research and consultancy organization based in New York.

Referred to as Global RepTrak 2007, the study aims to measure positive perception, confidence, respect and admiration consumers feel regarding the world’s leading companies.

The global ranking of company reputations is led by Lego (Denmark), followed by IKEA (Sweden), Barilla (Italy), Mercadona (Spain), AP Moller–Maersk (Denmark), Toyota Motors (Japan), Ferrero (Italy) and Petrobras (Brazil).
