For the third consecutive time Star Alliance has been voted the best airline company alliance by World Airline Survey (2007, 2005 & 2003*). The inquiry was conducted by the air transport studies organization Skytrax. More than 14 million passengers were interviewed throughout an eleventh month period (August 2006 to June 2007).

“Since we are celebrating our 10th anniversary, this prize couldn’t have come been more fitting, nor come at a more appropriate time”, said Jaan Albrecht, CEO of Star Alliance.” I would like to thank all our workers throughout the network that on a daily and consistent basis believe in the promising factor that the Star Alliance passenger represents, a fact that has been increasingly recognized by our passengers.”

Star Alliance was created in 1997 with the aim of becoming a leading global alliance of Airline Companies for the Frequent Flyer.
