TAP to have new in-flight magazine

With the aim of making its passengers’ journeys more agreeable, from November TAP is offering a new in-flight magazine entitled “Up”. With this new editorial proposal headed by journalist Paula Ribeiro, TAP seeks to meet the demands of communication taking into account the increasingly more cosmopolitan character of its Customers.

With modern functional graphics created by +2 designers conceived from scratch for a more adequate reading experience on airline flights and presenting new and more diversified content, “Up” is a monthly magazine that looks to cover the multiple interest areas of TAP passengers.

The cover theme for the first edition due out in November will be Lisbon since this new magazine is to have more open outlook on the world and focus on everything that is good about Portugal.

Paula Ribeiro, creator and director of TAP’s new in-flight magazine has an extensive professional resume. Editor of “Exame” magazine, assistant director of “Activa”, a director of “Cosmopolitan”, “20 Anos” and “Ícon” magazines, she also ran the weekly “Correio do Brasil” and “Grazia” magazine.

“Up” replaces the magazine “Atlantis”, a project that began in 1981 and to whose success can be contributed to some of the most celebrated Portuguese professionals in areas such as literature, journalism, design and photography.
