Star Alliance awarded best for “Business Traveller”

The “Business Traveller” awards are recognized in the world of aviation as a distinction of excellence in the sector and comprise 46 categories ranging from airline companies to the hotel industry and rent-a-car firms to renowned brands of travel articles.

“Winning this award for the second consecutive time is a very significant achievement for Star Alliance, since we have managed to do so in one of the most competitive markets in aviation, the United Kingdom” Jaan Albecht Star Alliance CEO stated. “It is also a very gratifying present for us at a time when we are celebrating our 10th anniversary. My thanks naturally go to all our workers who on daily basis offer our customers a consistently high quality service across the entire alliance network, work once again recognized by our customers with this award,” Jaan Albrecht pointed out.

This second distinction from the readers of Business Traveller reached in a voting process audited by an independent company, took place between April and June 2007. In addition to Star Alliance, the following member-companies also received awards: LOT Polish Airlines, Singapore Airlines and South African Airlines.
