TAP offers check-in online from Luanda

The check-in online option is now offered by TAP on flights from Luanda for passengers with electronic tickets, and can be performed between 24 and 5 hours prior to flight departure time. Passengers using check-in online should hand in their baggage at the Executive Class desk up to 90 minutes before departure.

During the first eight months of this year, the number of passengers transported by TAP between Lisbon and Luanda registered a 35 percent increase compared with the same period last year.

With the introduction of daily flights from Lisbon to Luanda from July 3, TAP responded to increased demand on this route which it operates with A340 aircraft with a capacity for 268 passengers.

TAP flights to the Angolan capital leave Lisbon on a daily basis at 11:20pm and arrive in Luanda at 7:05am the next day. On the return leg flights leave Luanda every day at 9:15am and arrive in Lisbon at 4:45pm.

With the inclusion of check-in online from Luanda, TAP is introducing an option in this important market that makes departure procedures for passengers from Angola more straightforward and less time-consuming.

TAP offers the check-in online option from Continental Portugal, Madeira*, The Azores*, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, London, Rome, Milan, Venice, Bologna and Oslo, and now Luanda, to the entire TAP network (except the USA).

Check-in online is available via the www.flytap.com website with the immediate print out of the respective boarding card. Passengers must present themselves at the departure gate at the time indicated on the card after passing through security checks.
