Tele check-in now launches at Lisbon Airport

28th January 2008 Print
The new Tele Check-in and In-Flight Reading desk is already operational at Terminal 2 in Lisbon Airport. From January 18, all TAP passengers departing from Terminal 2 and travelling luggage-free and destined for any airport within national territory – Faro, Porto, Madeira and the Azores – can check-in via telephone and pick up their boarding-card at this new desk installed in the new terminal building at Lisbon International Airport.

With this new option, coach class passengers travelling to national airports are also offered the possibility of picking up newspapers and magazines from the In-flight Reading Desk without having to proceed to the Main Terminal building.

By making this service available, TAP intends to offer its customers better attendance and a more convenient mode of travel and check-in, enabling them to save time and proceed directly to Terminal 2.

Telephone check-in and check-in online are available between 24 hours and 90 minutes prior to departure for passengers with a confirmed reservation on a flight operated by TAP travelling without luggage or carry-on luggage alone.

Passengers who opt for telephone check-in must proceed to the check-in desk without luggage 30 minutes prior to departure (on flights to the European Union) and 45 minutes prior to departure for all other flights. Check-in online is available via the flytap.com website with the immediate print-out of the respective boarding-card.
