TAP receives positive response to Belo Horizonte route

On February 15 TAP surpassed 20 thousand bookings on flights between Lisbon and Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais State, Brazil, confirming strong positive market response to the air transport company’s latest investment.

The inaugural flight on the new TAP route took place last Monday, February 11 and is operated using A330 aircraft with capacity for 259 passengers. The company offers five flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Lisbon/Belo Horizonte flights depart at 10am and arrive in the state capital of Minas Gerais at 5:30pm with the return leg leaving Tancredo Airport in Minas Gerais at 7pm and arriving in the Portuguese capital at 6:05am the following day.

TAP now offers 66 flights a week between Europe and Brazil, a country where it flies to eight destinations: in addition to Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Salvador, Natal, Recife and Fortaleza.
