Tap offers over 100 extra flights to Madeira and the Azores

TAP is to increase its flights to Madeira and the Azores during the Christmas and New Year period offering its passengers 103 extra flights in total between December 14, 2008 and January 6, 2009.

During this period the company is offering more than 24 thousand additional seats between the Continent and the Self-Governing Regions – to the cities of Funchal, Horta and Terceira – with this special offer corresponding to the increased demand predicted for the Christmas season.

Between Madeira and the Continent (Lisbon and Porto), the Company has scheduled a total of 78 additional flights – of which 54 depart from Lisbon and 24 from Porto, respectively – reflecting an increase of more than 22 thousand seats.

To the Azores, the offer includes 13 extra flights between Continental Portugal and Terceira and 12 between the Continent and Horta. The two destinations jointly total an increase in capacity in excess of seven thousand seats.
