TAP increases flights to Africa

TAP is increasing flights between Portugal and Africa over the summer with the start up of new flights to Luanda, Dakar, Praia and Sao Tome & Principe as well as offering special fares to Angola.

To Luanda, TAP is already offering three extra flights a week on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays departing from Lisbon at 12:30am and arriving in the Angolan capital at 8:10pm. From Luanda to Lisbon, the extra flights leave at 11:05pm and land at Portela Airport at 6:55am the following day.

From June 1 TAP is offering its customers a special offer fare from Portugal to Luanda with return flights from €1,078.*

The Portuguese airline company is running three extra flights between Lisbon and Praia, increasing fights to one a day with departures from Lisbon at 10:10pm and arrivals at 12:20am. From the capital of Cape Verde, TAP flights leave at 1:10am and arrive in Lisbon at 7am. This extra daily flight began on June 8 and is scheduled to run thru September 12.

Between July 6 and September 14, TAP will also run an extra flight to Sao Tome & Principe on Mondays at the same time as the regular flight on Fridays, with departure from Lisbon at 12:15am and arrival in Sao Tome at 5:15am. This extra flight will enable the increased demand seen during this period of the summer on this route to be met.

To Dakar, TAP will run two extra flights a week over the period between July 23 and September 3, adding to the regular daily flight of the airline to the capital of Senegal.

Extra flights will run on Mondays and Thursdays with departure from Lisbon at 8:15pm and arrival in Dakar at 11:25pm. On the return leg, the TAP flight leaves at 12:35am and arrives in Lisbon at 5:40am, local time.

Regular flights TP209/TP210 will be subject to a slight hour change on days extra flights run.
