The great Christmas getaway starts early

The great Christmas getaway has started early at award winning low fares airline Monarch this year, with over 140,000 passengers set to jet off to warmer climes in Europe for the festive period.

Between Friday 19 December 08 and Monday 05 January 09, Monarch will operate 955 scheduled flights with top destinations this year being Malaga, Tenerife and Alicante. For the first time, Monarch will also be operating scheduled flights on Christmas Day and over 1,000 customers will be making use of these as they head off to Lanzarote, where temperatures of up to 20 degrees can be expected – 16 degrees higher than we can expect in the UK!

Cyprus is also proving a very popular destination this Christmas with new and increased frequencies from London and Manchester ensuring that low fares are available throughout the festive period.
