Monarch launches new weekly service to Volos Award winning leisure airline Monarch is the first UK airline to announce services between the UK and the stunning Greek city of Volos for summer 2009. Famed for its fish taverns, which are believed to be some of the best places to eat fresh seafood in the whole of Greece, and home to the country’s third largest port, Volos is an upmarket, bustling city on the northern shores of the Pagasitikos Gulf which provides an ideal base for exploring the Pelion Peninsula and the Sporades.

Monarch’s new charter flights will depart from Gatwick and Manchester each Friday between 15 May and 09 October 2009, with fares from as little as £239 return, including all taxes and charges*.
