Monarch gets set for busiest summer get-away

Award-winning low fares airline Monarch has geared up for its busiest summer get-away ever as the schools break up for the holidays, with 260,000 passengers booked to travel at the beginning of the school break.

Despite the current economic downturn, depressed Brits are fleeing the unpredictable British weather in favour of more reliable sunshine hotspots with Malaga on the Costa del Sol proving to be the most popular getaway from the UK. This is closely followed by Faro in the Algarve and Alicante on the Costa Blanca, where temperatures are set to reach a sizzling 39 degrees this weekend and the sunshine guaranteed!
