Lowest-price airBaltic tickets made available for resale

19th February 2008 Print
The tickets of the Latvian national airline airBaltic at the lowest price classes (the so-called E-dessert tickets) are now available at reseller ticket offices, including travel agencies and travel portals. Until now, they had only been available on the company’s webpage at Airbaltic.com.

The sale of tickets via travel agencies and other distribution systems is more expensive than selling them directly on the airline’s homepage. Therefore, ticket prices are being restructured so as to make sure that tickets on the airBaltic homepage are as much as LVL 7 (EUR 10) cheaper in each price class than is the case in other distribution channels.

airBaltic president and CEO Bertolt Flick: "With this price restructuring we wish to emphasize once again that the Internet is not only the most convenient, but also the least expensive way to buy airline tickets."

Prices of airBaltic tickets depend on demand – tickets are likely to be cheaper if they are bought as early as possible and if fewer seats have already been sold.
