Representatives of the Latvian airline airBaltic, led by the airline’s president and CEO, Bertolt Flick, opened a regional office at the “Romas darzs” business centre in Liepaja. This makes the airline’s services more easily available to people in the Latvian region of Kurzeme and in the north-western regions of Lithuania.

Bertolt Flick, President and CEO of airBaltic, comments: “We now see that our domestic flights to Liepaja and the fact that the Liepaja airport is now listed on international aviation maps because of flights from it to Hamburg and Copenhagen – these are very important initiatives which have promoted growth not just in Liepaja and its immediate environs, but also in a significant part of Lithuania. By opening an office in Liepaja, we are offering our clients in Kurzeme and North-west Lithuania another way of receiving airBaltic services.”

airBaltic opened a regional office in Daugavpils in November of last year, and early in February of this year, the airline’s second sales and consultation office was opened at the Reval Hotel Latvija hotel in Riga.

airBaltic regional offices provide information about services, sell air tickets, change the names of passengers, the dates of flights and the routes that are flown, accept payments for checked-in baggage transport, provide services related to the Eurobonus programme, and sell prepaid airBalticcard Mobile mobile telephone cards, as well as the airline’s souvenirs.
