airBaltic announces new flights for summer season

During the 2009 summer season, which will begin on March 30, 2009, the Latvian national airline airBaltic will supplement its network of flights from Riga with three new destinations – Linköping in Sweden, Palanga in Lithuania, and Tromsø in Norway.

airBaltic will offer daily direct flights to Linköping on Fokker 50 aircraft. The flight will last one hour and 40 minutes, with one-way ticket prices from LVL 25, including airport fees and transaction costs.

There will also be daily flights to the Lithuanian resort of Palanga, with 12 weekly flights in all. Here, too, passengers will travel on Fokker 50 aircraft, and the trip will take 45 minutes. One-way ticket prices start at LVL 25, including airport fees and transaction costs.

Direct flights to Tromsø will be offered on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays on Boeing 737-500 aircraft. The trip will take 2 hours and 35 minutes, with one-way ticket prices beginning at LVL 35, including airport fees and transaction costs.
