31st January 2007 Print
British Airways is to launch new flights between London Gatwick and Newquay. The daily service will start on Monday March 20, 2007 with flights operating on a Boeing 737 aircraft.

British Airways commercial director, Robert Boyle, said: “There is a growing demand for leisure travel to Cornwall, in part due to the popularity of attractions such as the Eden Project.

“This new service will provide easy access to London and the South East for leisure and business travellers from the county. In addition, they will be able to transfer to one of 83 UK, European and longhaul services that we and our franchise partner GB Airways operate from Gatwick.”

Flights depart London Gatwick at 11.50 each day with Newquay departures at 14.20.
