A great start in 2007 for Mallorca Farmhouses

Specialist tour operator, Mallorca Farmhouses, can really celebrate this Christmas with their latest sales figures. Sales for November are up by 40% on the same period in 2005 and the number of bookings up by 100%. December reports are looking equally as promising.

Solveig McNeill, marketing director, Mallorca Farmhouses says ‘‘We are absolutely delighted with the figures which we believe are a result of our high levels of repeat business, the returning trend of clients booking much earlier to guarantee their favourite properties as well as our increasing presence in the marketplace.’’

For 2007, Mallorca Farmhouses has expanded its portfolio to over 150 properties. Due to popular demand, the Exclusive Mallorca section has been expanded to include the much sought after Andratx region and now also offers smaller properties across the island. In addition, every property comes with a complimentary deluxe hamper and hire car with fully comprehensive insurance.

A new-look, easy-to-navigate website has been launched in conjunction with the 2007 brochure. Features include a wider selection of properties with photographs, virtual tours, floor plans, live availability and a choice of payment options and currencies. A new travel agent section is currently being developed to increase agency sales which currently account for approximately 30% of bookings.
