Devon Cliffs named Britain’s best

The award, together with a plaque and trophy, were presented to Resort Director Joan Thomas at a Haven conference held recently in Paris.
The top award crowns an impressive year for the resort during 2006. It won a number of green awards including the Devon Environmental Business Initiative award for reducing environmental impact and a Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award.
The park reopens for the 2007 season at the beginning of March. Over the closed winter period some £3 million will be spent on the caravan park in renovations, upgrades and improvements, bringing to £21 million the amount invested by parent company Bourne Leisure at Devon Cliffs since 2000.
Among new attractions will be a new jungle-theme interactive gift shop with many children’s activities and a fantastic new Adventure Golf course which offers various different levels of play to appeal to adults and children alike.
Prices for a four night spring break at Devon Cliffs start at as little as £89 for a self-catering break in standard accommodation for up to six people on selected dates.
