Affordable Caribbean family holidays

5th March 2007 Print
Caribbean Family Holidays Families planning holidays in the Caribbean this year will find it particularly good value at five of the region’s best known and privately owned resorts. The luxury hotels, on islands including Barbados, Grenada and St Lucia, are extending the children’s price age from 12 to 16.

The hotels include Little Good Harbour in Barbados, Calabash in Grenada, East Winds Inn on St Lucia, Young Island in the Grenadines and Eden Rock in St Barths.

All the hotels are represented in the UK by leading luxury marketing company Essential Detail (essentialdetail.co.uk) and director Annette Quinn said: “ This decision means that Caribbean holidays will be exceptional value for families this year especially as British Airways and Virgin has also increased the children’s age limit to 16 on it flights to the region. With the continued weakness of the dollar against the pound family holidays in the region suddenly become much more affordable.”

Families with younger children and infants can also benefit because other hotels represented by Essential Detail are offering VIP Baby Packages. The hotels, including Antigua’s Curtain Bluff and Cobblers Cove in Barbados, provide cots, baby baths and bottle sterilizers as well as supervised activities for under 12’s.
