Indus painting holidays to exhibit clients’ artistry

2nd May 2007 Print
Indus Tours Indus Tours, specialist tour operators, have introduced an exciting new painting holiday concept this month whereby customers will have the opportunity to show their recently completely works of art in a professional gallery as part of their holiday.

Working with Xross-PolyNation, an organisation that specialises in cross-cultural exchange through art, clients will enjoy all the benefits of a painting holiday – travel to exotic destinations, tutoring by a recognised professional artist and sightseeing with an English speaking guide – with the added incentive of having their artwork exhibited in that country at the end of the trip.

Yasin Zargar, Managing Director, Indus Tours commented: ”Having operated a successful painting holiday programme to destinations all around the world for over 10 years now, it seemed a shame not to be able to give our clients the opportunity of being able to share their creativity with others who also have a keen interest in art and travel. By working with Xross-Polynation, our clients will be able to feel a real sense of achievement by professionally exhibiting their works in other countries and enjoying some inspired cross-cultural exchange with local artists and, equally importantly, potential buyers.”

The new tours, which have been launched with a 15 day tour to India ‘Creative Impressions – Capture the Spirit of India’ from 30 September to 14 October 2007, will be lead by artist and lecturer Nick Tidnam. Commencing in Delhi, this tour will explore Gwalior with its impressive 1000yr old fort and extravagant Jai Vilas Palace, the island haven on Orchha set in the Betwa River amongst beautiful forested surrounds and World Heritage listed Khajuraho with its 10th century erotic temples, before culminating in Delhi for the exhibition and a preview evening with special guests.

‘Creative Impressions – Capture the Spirit of India’ starts from £1885/person (based on 2 sharing) and includes return economy class flights to Delhi with British Airways, all departure taxes, half board accommodation, sightseeing with English speaking guide, internal flights, train excursion, all transfers and tutoring with Nick Tidnam.
