Free camping accommodation for GCSE students

4th June 2007 Print
Keycamp All teenagers want some space of their own on a traditional family holiday; a place to chill, away from annoying brothers and sisters, a place they can take their mates. Keycamp has come up with a great solution creating a holiday for teenagers that’s perfect for parents too.

A mum worker at Keycamp has hit on the ingenious idea of rewarding post-exam GCSE students with their very own tent accommodation, to share with their mate when on holiday with the family.

The ‘Free Space’ initiative is open to any parents booking tent or mobile home accommodation at fifteen of Keycamp’s most action-packed camp sites in France, Spain and Italy; so the kids - and any mates they wish to bring along - not only get the benefit of their very own chill out pad, but also a huge choice of facilities, with sites offering everything from cycling to canoeing and swimming pool complexes to saunas.

If you are looking for a cheap holiday in June, Le Vieux Port at Messanges in Gascony, France is teen heaven made real. Close to a fabulous sandy beach, it is a popular surf hangout and with plenty to do on site, including horse riding, football, cycling, swimming and bags of evening entertainment, exam stress will soon be a distant memory.

A twelve night camping holiday in France at Le Vieux Port staring on 9 June for two adults and up to five children, aged 16 or under, will cost from just £605, based on parents staying in a Supernova mobile home and teens in a Supertent. Return midweek Dover-Calais ferry crossings are included, while alternative crossings, overnight stops and fly-drive packages to Biarritz are available at a supplement.

Free Space is available between 9 June and 7 July 2007.
