Holiday Park of the year gets even better

The Haven and British Holidays park received the highest rating for customer satisfaction in the survey by Holidaywatchdog.com which attracts a million hits a month.
Many reviewers commented on the fantastic facilities on the park and the helpful attitude of the Team Members especially the entertainment team which was singled out for high praise.
And the new £438,000 touring block means staying at Littlesea has become more comfortable for holidaymakers bringing their own tent, caravan or motorhome.
Designed with care for the environment the new facility is built in natural cedar wood with a sedum roof that blends in with the surrounding landscapes. The ‘living roof’ consists of a low-growing, low maintenance alpine plant with small flowers that provides a natural covering with minimum visual impact - ideal in the sensitive surroundings of Dorset’s World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Inside holidaymakers will be treated to state-of-the-art amenities. ‘Whilst camping is a great way to enjoy a holiday that’s close to nature, a hot shower makes a big difference when you’re sleeping under canvas!’ say Haven. ‘We believe it’s important to make our touring facilities as attractive and welcoming as possible. Camping and caravanning are becoming an increasingly popular holiday option - draughty shower blocks and basic facilities are just not acceptable to today’s discerning campers.’
The new touring block boasts under-floor heating which not only keeps your feet warm when you step out of the shower but means any water dries away quickly. There’s also a family bathroom – essential if you have small children who really don’t like showering, disabled facilities, a laundry room and plenty of space for washing up.
Littlesea has 120 pitches for touring caravans, tents and motorhomes and is a popular destination on the south coast for families on touring holidays.
Situated within easy reach of the historic resort of Weymouth with its long sandy beaches and picturesque harbour, Littlesea overlooks Fleet Lagoon – a natural feature that is a haven for wildlife and plants. The park offers many nature walks as well as a packed programme of day and evening entertainment, plus wide range of sports and leisure activities including fencing, archery, Water Dodgems and Aqua Gliders.
A touring pitch at Littlesea starts at £17 per night during July for a basic pitch for a family of four – prices vary throughout the season so visit Touringholidays.co.uk for bookings and details.
Littlesea is one of 22 Haven and British Holidays parks with touring facilities around the UK.
