Holiday Rental Specialist enhances their online experience

Global holiday letting specialist Interhome has increased stickiness on its website with the development of online brochure technology.

Interhome now enables consumers to go online at Interhome.co.uk and create their own brochure by selecting properties based on a series of criteria such as destination, location, size and type of property, facilities (such as pool, pets allowed), properties available for an actual date and duration of stay and then add them to a short-list.

The technology then sorts the short-list into an easy-to-read brochure, which they use to read online, delete properties, add more properties, book a property or obtain further information.

Website visitors can also have the e-brochure e-mailed to them in PDF format to share with partners, family and friends.

In addition, Interhome has also created a ‘property matchmaker service’ for consumers who want a bespoke brochure to be put together for them. The matchmaker technology works by consumers filling in a number of mandatory fields about their holiday and then a few details about whether they want a villa with a pool, a quiet location or a different experience altogether.

The technology puts together a tailor-made brochure and can either e-mail it to the customer or send it by post.

Interhome’s innovative technology scooped a bronze award last month at the marketing awards organised by the Swiss Direct Marketing Association. Judges praised the company for its creation of a cost-effective, efficient brochure system as well as the three-fold increase in conversion achieved by the introduction of the new technology.
