Prestige Holidays launch special interest tours

Provence Independent luxury tour operator, Prestige Holidays, is offering 18 special interest Holidays for 2008 through tours specialist, The Travellers’ Club. New for next year are a tour to ancient and modern Libya, a trip to Jordan and Syria and an Indonesian tour taking in Bali, Central Java and Lombok.

The 18 tours range from a long weekend to one nearly a month in length and include three tours to India, one to Iran, painting holidays in France and Greece, an art and history tour of Eastern Germany and trips to Ravenna and Venice, St Petersburg and Morocco.

Packages start from £895 per person for the week’s History and Art in Eastern Germany Tour (3-10 May) including return scheduled flights, BB accommodation and guides.

The Travellers’ Club offers imaginative and comfortable holidays taken at a leisurely pace which appeal to the elderly as well as younger people. Also as travellers tend to meet before departure, single travellers have the option of sharing rooms, avoiding the cost of single supplements.

Iran: A Persian Spring, 11 – 25 April 2008, cost £1985 per person.

A Long Weekend in Provence, 10 – 15 April 2008, cost £975 per person.

History and Art in Eastern Germany, 3 – 10 May 2008, cost £895 per person.

Painting Holidays In France, 12 – 19 and 22 – 29 June 2008, from £1095 per person.
Stay in a medieval chateau, painting tuition plus visits to abbeys and chateaux, boating and more.

St Petersburg: Music, History, Art and Architecture, a week in June to be confirmed, cost £1045 per person.
A tour in association with the Rossica Choir of St Petersburg who will arrange special concerts, gallery and museum visits.

Aix-en-Provence Music Festival, 9-13 July 2008, cost £1295 per person.
Including opera and concert tickets, excursions.

The Peloponnese: Ancient and Byzantine Greece, 14-21 October, cost £1495 per person.
