Join the festivities in Portugal this summer

Head to Lisbon during July and August and enjoy the annual beer festival at St George’s castle with live music, food and crafts. This festival marks the start of the festivals in the region and you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views across the city from the hill top castle.
Further south Lagos hosts the countries annual sweets festival on 29th and 30th July, where sweet toothed visitors can enjoy an endless array of locally made treats.
It’s also bullfighting season in Santarem where you can see the traditional focados challenge (bloodless bullfighting), where bullfighters line up in single file to face the full frontal charge of the bull.
Stay at Eurocamp’s new São Pedro de Moel parc in the Costa de Prata and experience the buzz and excitement of the festivities.
The parc itself sits in the small seaside resort of Marinha Grande – peaceful and charming the parc is shaded by pine trees and includes a swimming pool, table tennis and bike hire.
Known as Portugal’s Silver Coast with its white sandy unspoiled beaches, the Costa de Prata is not on the British tourist trail and offers travellers a taste of the authentic Portugal without the crowds of the Algarve.
Commencing 28th July a seven night stay at São Pedro de Moel for a family of five (two adults, three children) staying in a two bedroom chalet costs £690 – accommodation only, with a summer holiday discount of £275*.
