1st August 2007 Print
Eurocamp If you’re feeling ‘under the weather’ then why not take a trip to Eurocamp’s brand new Balneo spa retreat in its stunning Parc des Alicourts at Pierrefitte in the Loire Valley. Campers in need of some pampering can relax in the adult only indoor lagoon, surrounded by beaches looking out onto the lake.

The hydrotherapy centre, shaped in the number eight symbolising new beginnings, boasts a Jacuzzi, hydrotherapy pool and various other water jet systems.

The serenity rooms house Turkish baths perfumed with essential oils, saunas and treatment rooms where professional therapists perform relaxation techniques and massages on holidaymakers. And for those wanting to work up a sweat there’s also a fitness centre.

Parc des Alicourts is positioned in a peaceful forest setting, surrounded by glades, ponds and cycle paths where you can watch the wildlife. There’s also excellent biking and hiking right on the doorstep.

The parc offers plenty to keep the kids amused with endless activities including canoeing, horse riding and karting, and also boasts its own adventure play area, not to mention a fantastic pool complex, wave pool and waterslides.

Families looking to escape the summer wash out can go to Eurocamp’s Parc des Alicourts - departing 29th August, a four night stay in a Siena mobile home costs just £404, (that’s less than £21 per person per night) for a family of five (2 adults, 3 children), including ferry crossings.
