Braemore Short Lets Visitors to Edinburgh are being given the chance to enjoy the Capital in Five Star comfort and style - without the stuffy formality of hotel living - with the launch of two stunning short-term let apartments.

The properties have been developed in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre to specifically offer luxury short term lets for visitors who don’t want the regimented formula of staying in a hotel but still want to experience the city’s Georgian New Town at its finest.

Braemore Property Management believe the apartments – with their vast living, sleeping and eating space - fill a vital gap for families or groups of friends who want to visit Edinburgh for short trips but still want to enjoy surroundings that offer cutting-edge style, fabulous interiors and independence.

Colette Murphy, director of Braemore, Edinburgh’s most prestigious letting company with a portfolio of more than 800 properties, said the two and a three bedroom apartments at 15 and 15a Dundas Street offer tourists an entire city-centre home for the same price a boutique hotel room.

She said: “When people visit Edinburgh they want to experience the city at its best and there is no surer way of achieving that than staying in a stunning 18th century New Town home.

“Dundas Street is right at the heart of Edinburgh with the city’s finest restaurants, bars and attractions right on the doorstep.

“And the size of the properties means they are perfect for visiting families or groups of friends and ensures that after a full day or night’s sightseeing, you can come back to sleep, relax or continue to entertain.

“Whether it is for one night or one month, a visit for Hogmanay or a sabbatical to take in the Edinburgh Festival, our properties will very quickly make you feel at home in one of the world’s finest cities.

“It makes absolute sense that, for the same price as a boutique hotel room, visitors to Edinburgh would rather experience life in a fabulous three-bedroom New Town home. Thanks to our properties in Dundas Street, they can experience that luxury.”

The homes have undergone a £300,000 renovation and been decorated and furnished to Braemore’s exacting standards.

Number 15, which has been awarded a five-star rating by VisitScotland, comprises three king-size bedrooms with master ensuite, drawing room, dining kitchen and luxury bathroom; while number 15a, situated on the lower ground floor, consists of two double bedrooms with master ensuite, living room open plan to kitchen and bathroom.

Both properties are accessed by main doors from Dundas Street and have been renovated and decorated to the highest contemporary standard throughout by renowned interior designer Jane Adams of Adams and Adams.

The properties are fitted with modern centralised music systems with speakers in every room while every bedroom has its own iPod docking station, flat screen TV and DVD player. Both properties also have their own private parking space – a rare commodity in central Edinburgh.

Colette added: “What sets 15 and 15a Dundas Street apart is not only the central location but the extremely high quality of the finish in the homes.

“They offer everything anyone could ever need during a stay, be it for one night or one month. In essence, it is a home from home and that is exactly what we were setting out to achieve.

“There is quite simply no better alternative for luxurious accommodation in the city centre which offers privacy and independence coupled with outstanding customer service.”
