Travelux launches 2008 brochure

Greek holiday specialists, Travelux has launched its 2008 brochure with a brand new layout, new photography and a quick and easy guide to its luxury private homes located in the idyllic Ionian islands of Lefkada and Meganissi.

With nine new properties to the portfolio, Travelux now offers over 50 exclusive villas and apartments, each with private pools and furnished to a very high standard.

Added features for 2008 include:

• A new midday flight to Preveza departing from London Gatwick and Manchester
• Additional flights departing from London Stansted during the high season
• Larger motor boats to rent in conjunction with villas

Bob Cooper, managing director of Travelux, says “Due to popular demand, we’ve added a brand new route from London Stansted and changed our existing flight times until later in the day so customers can arrive at the airport at a more sociable hour! It will also make travelling a lot easier for families with small children in particular.”

Bob continues, “The small motor boats also proved extremely popular this year so we have increased the engine sizes so guests will be able to explore further afield and enjoy all the beautiful hidden coves and beaches in the surrounding area.”

Lefkada - Villa Phoebe
This new villa is ideally located within walking distance of Mikros Gialos harbour with its pebble beach and selection of cafes and waterside tavernas. All three bedrooms offer en-suite facilities and boast panoramic sea views which can also be enjoyed from the private infinity pool, furnished sun terraces and BBQ area. A complimentary motor boat is also included for guests’ personal use. Accommodation-only prices start from £1,996 per week.

Property prices for 2008 start from £758 for a week in a three-bedroom apartment at Fisherman’s Retreat in Lefkada. Flights are available from London Gatwick, Manchester or Stansted for an additional £355 per person for one week to also include car or boat hire and a welcome pack including maps and a walking booklet.
