There are several scenic walking routes out to the end of the peninsula, and up to the top of Cleggan Mountain. There is also a beach nearby, which is an ideal place to take children and dogs. Visitors can also enjoy mackerel fishing or collecting fresh mussels.

The new Foxes at the Cleggan Farm Cottages property has two bedrooms and can sleep four people. It is well furnished, and has a kitchen with breakfast area, a sitting room with a small dining area and cosy open fire, a bathroom and toilet and outside a small garden and car parking spaces.
