Inghams drops the Euro

4th December 2007 Print
Inghams drops the Euro Inghams earlier this week launched their new Short Break brochure, offering a wide selection of travel options and accommodation for short break holidays. Drawing on 17 years experience in operating short break holidays, the new brochure has a fresh, contemporary and easy to use design, helping the discerning traveller to find whatever they are looking for.

There is a selection of destinations, transfers and pre-bookable events, to tailor make short breaks to what you want with the guarantee of a reputable bonded tour operator.

The brochure offers a choice of over 43 cities in 29 countries worldwide, with departures from 25 UK airports. Prices start from £160 per person at the: 2* Hotel Bordeaux, Paris for two nights on B&B with Eurostar from London and from £539 per person at the: 3* Hotel New Yorker, New York for two nights on B&B with British Airways flights.

Twelve new destinations have been added and include a number of long haul cities, reflecting our clients’ general interest in farther flung destinations. These include the fascinating city of Hong Kong with lots of colonial history to explore; Canada’s two most popular cities, the cultural hub of Toronto with Niagara Falls close by and the coastal city of Vancouver.

Due to the very favourable currency exchange rate against the dollar the introduction of the US cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Boston are a natural fit.

In response to customer demand for more diverse and unusual destinations the cradle of civilisation Cairo; the sophisticated cosmopolitan city of Cape Town and the eclectic Arabian Gulf city of Dubai are now featured.

Following the success of St Petersburg the Russian capital of Moscow has been introduced with the option of a two centre train holiday. Lille, only one hour and twenty minutes away by Eurostar is a delightful Flemish town easily accessed.

A special selection of Ski, Lakes and Mountains, Spa and Santa short breaks are available for a fun and care free short break, to some of our most popular and long established destinations.

“People try to cram in as much as possible into the ‘work-life balance’ leaving very little time for relaxation. Market trends indicate continued strong growth in shorter duration breaks as the nation strives to escape from stressful working lives.

“City breaks for culture, food and wine. Spa breaks for health, wellness, anti-aging and relaxation has been described as the new cultural trend. Short ski breaks offering the ultimate winter adventure for first-timers and ski veterans, as well as the many people looking for an alternative winter snow experience rocks whilst few activities invigorate the senses like walking in the mountains or swimming in a natural Alpine Lake. Also put the magic back into Christmas and take the stress away and join Inghams on a Santa short break programme to Santa’s home in Lapland each December”, says Short Break manager Neil Kewley.

Formerly known as Eurobreak, we have renamed this programme Inghams Short Breaks to reflect this significantly expanded programme, including worldwide city breaks, experiential weekends and active adventures, all offered under the trusted and experienced Inghams portfolio.
