Keycamp Holidays in Sicily – An offer you can’t refuse

28th December 2007 Print
While Sicily is famous for its Mafia connections, you certainly don’t need ‘Godfather’ style threats to encourage a visit, especially now self-catering specialist Keycamp has launched its first site on the irresistible island and is offering seven nights in a mobile home from £197 per family, accommodation only.

Set in a stunning palm-fringed location, west of Palermo and 3km from the pretty town of San Vito lo Capo, the El Bahira campsite is well placed to take advantage of everything for which Sicily is famed including heavenly beaches, glorious food and some stunning scenery.

On the campsite, there’s plenty to keep the whole family occupied, not least a scuba diving school, which provides the opportunity to explore one of the best underwater worlds on this part of the coast. Two swimming pools, both filled by the clear blue water of the Mediterranean, plus tennis, fishing and volleyball are also available, while a programme of events and entertainments will keep the children occupied.

El Bahira has direct access to the beach and is just a short drive from the nature reserves of Monte Cofano and Zingaro, with the historic towns of Mozia, Trapani, Segesta and Erice a little further afield.

A seven night break from the 26 April costs £197 for a family of two adults and up to five children staying in a Villanova mobile home with decking, accommodation only. Fly drive packages or ferry crossings are available at a supplement.
