Haven’s £41 million spending spree

Haven Holidays are undergoing a £41million improvement plan over the winter months, making things even better at their 35 family holiday parks around the UK.

“The winter is always a very busy time for us,” said Tim Gibson, Sales and Marketing Director. “Every year we expect to invest heavily in our product to make sure we provide the best possible holiday environment and facilities for our customers.”

So what’s new for 2008?

Holidaymakers at Combe Haven, near Hastings will be enjoying stylish surroundings and state of the art sound and lighting at what promises to be one of the best new venues on the South Coast. Costing more than £1.5million, the ‘Live Lounge’ will be a great place to enjoy top family entertainment with music, dancing and cabaret.

Combe Haven is also one of an increasing number of Haven parks to feature the new ‘Mash and Barrel’ lounge-café – an all day café bar serving an impressive menu of food, drinks and coffee with a sun terrace overlooking the outdoor pool.

Thorpe Park, near Cleethorpes in Leicester will be a watery haven for kids of all ages with a brand new Adventure SplashZone. The new pool will have a lazy river, a fast flume for big kids, a gentle flume for little kids and a Space Bowl for the more adventurous.

The new pool makes Thorpe Park a top choice for families with an outdoor FunZone featuring Adventure Crazy Golf, bouncy castles and trampolines, a roller skating rink, a 9-hole golf course, coarse fishing lakes and bike hire.

Other Haven parks will benefit from improvements to the entertainment venues, a much bigger choice of places to eat and drink and better facilities. Haven are also make a big spend on landscaping, making their award-winning parks even more attractive for holidaymakers.

Nab a half price break

There’s still time (just!) to book a half price Spring Break with Haven Holidays. The half price deal means you could be taking the kids away and enjoying a break on selected dates during March, April and May for less than £100 at choice of first class family holiday parks around the UK – but you’ll need to confirm your booking before January 31st.
